Echoes uses the data it collects from its integrations to produce activity reports.
Echoes is deliberately designed to present actionable data, and not the exhaustivity of things that can be measured as part of a software development flow. Therefore, the reports focus on key components of engineering success, while the underlying data is used to feed into rich and complex insights.
The executive report is a high-level view of the status of your organization across the different components of engineering success.
- The alignment section gives a bird-eye view of how efforts in the teams (in line) are being allocated against your company goals and projects (in column). This view gives a very simple overview of how engineering budget is being used, in a way that can be presented to a CEO or a CFO.
Clicking on any team, goal, or initiative allows to zoom into the activity and understand the data being presented.
The team report is an overview of the activity for a particular set of teams. It notably shows the evolution of efforts allocation over time (on a week-to-week, month-to-month, or quarter-to-quarter basis depending on the selected filter).
